Nuuksio Lake Highlands is a pristine nature destination of over 5,000 hectares in the metropolitan area, where you can experience the biodiversity of plants and animals. The landscape of Nuuksio is characterized by steep-edged valleys shaped by fragmented bedrock, with swamps and ponds at their bottoms, as well as high rocky ridges.
Due to the southern location of Nuuksio and its varied terrain, the terrain is mosaic-like. Vegetation varies from lush groves and dark stream valleys with lime and hazel trees to blueberry-dominant spruce forests and dry heath-covered areas with pine trees.
Nuuksio Experience is operated by Kaikuva Ltd, the first pure nature tourism company in Southern Finland. We have been engaged in nature tourism activities in the Nuuksio area for 30 years.

Open house for visitors. We offer campfire coffee and small snacks. You are also welcome to bring your own food. Weather permitting, we will light a midsummer bonfire. A wide variety of instruments are available for musicians.
